In its Dislocated Space series, Xu reinterprets industrial components — especially clamps — into modular ceramic works joined by precision-engineered metal fittings. Designed for assembly and reconfiguration, these pieces blur the line between function and sculpture. Through this material dialogue, Xu reimagines domestic objects, inviting new ways of seeing, using, and inhabiting space.
