MU16 is a Chinese glassware and homeware brand founded in 2021. Its name refers to the 16 waking hours we move through each day—the time beyond sleep in which everyday life unfolds. Seeing glass as a vessel for time and memory, MU16 creates objects that bring warmth, beauty, and a greater sense of awareness to everyday rituals.

Each piece is handcrafted by skilled glassmakers in Qixian, Shanxi, a region known for its long tradition of glassmaking. Working with traditional mouth-blowing techniques at temperatures of up to 1,200°C, the brand brings together established craftsmanship and a playful, contemporary design language. MU16 has also extended its work through cultural collaborations, including a project with the British Library and an upcoming collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
