1. Orders

We currently deliver to all countries worldwide.

For orders within the European Union, shipments are sent from the Netherlands, and no additional import duties or taxes apply upon delivery.

For orders outside the EU, please note that import duties, VAT, or handling fees may be charged by your local customs authorities. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the order total at checkout.

 



2. Payment

All transactions are secure and encrypted.

Payment is charged at the time of order confirmation.

We accept the following payment methods:

 

  • Local payment: iDEAL (Netherlands)

  • Credit and debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, UnionPay

  • Digital wallets: PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay (express checkout)

 


 

3. Shipping

Orders are shipped via PostNL or DHL, depending on the destination country.

Free shipping is available for EU orders over €300.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number to follow your shipment.

4. Warranty

All our products are covered by the statutory EU warranty. This means your item should arrive in good condition and be suitable for normal use for at least two years from delivery.

To help keep your items in the best condition, please read the care instructions provided on each product page.

If a product does not meet the warranty standards — for example, if a glass arrives cracked, cutlery has a defect, or a vase is faulty — we will provide a fair solution. This may include a replacement, repair, or refund.

Please note that the warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental breakage, or normal wear and tear.

 


 

5. Returns

    If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have the right to return it within 14 days of receipt, in accordance with EU consumer law.

    Please contact us at contact@lobjeterie.com before sending any returns.
    Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

    To request a return, please include your order number and a brief reason for the return.
    Once approved, we will provide detailed instructions and a return shipping option.
    (For EU customers only)

    Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs, except in cases where an item arrives damaged or defective — in such cases, we will provide a complimentary DHL return label and instructions.

    Returned items must be carefully packed in their original packaging and remain in the same condition as received, apart from normal handling required to inspect the product.

     

    For Non-EU Customers

    For returns from outside the European Union, L’OBJETERIE will arrange the return shipment and customs documentation on your behalf using DHL Express.
    This ensures accurate customs declaration and prevents additional import VAT or duties when the parcel re-enters the Netherlands.

    The corresponding DHL return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund once the return has been received and inspected.

    6.Damaged or Incorrect Items

    Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

    We will arrange a replacement or refund at no extra cost to you.

     


     

    7.Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

    Discounted items (sale items) may be returned under the same 14-day right, unless clearly marked as “Final Sale” at the time of purchase (e.g., sample sale).

     


     

    8.Refunds

    Once your return has been received and approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method.

    Processing typically takes 10–14 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

    9.Newsletter Discount

    Newsletter subscribers receive 10% off their first purchase as a welcome offer.

    This discount applies only to full-priced items and cannot be used on sale or clearance items.

    It may be combined with certain store promotions (such as multi-buy offers or product bundles), unless otherwise stated.

    The discount is valid for a single use per customer and must be applied at checkout using the unique code provided upon subscription.
